Intro to Outdoor Climbing
Intro to Outdoor Climbing is a course that will teach you the basics of outdoor climbing, including some of the etiquette, gear, safety tips, simple anchor building, as well as basic climbing movement to become a more efficient climber, as well as how to become a safe lead climber. You will also learn a very important part of outdoor climbing, which is, how to place gear, since often times the hangers are too far apart from each other and a lead fall could be consequential to both, the climber and the belayer. This course is not an anchor-building course, yet it will show you how to set the most common TR anchor used in sport climbing. In this Intro to Outdoor Climbing course you will also learn the most basic way to self rescue.
