Trad Anchors Course
Trad anchors are an essential part of climbing. As a mountaineer and a climber it is detrimental to know how to recognize the type of rock and quality that you are confronted with, and you must know how to improvise and create anchors using what you have available. Wether you use natural features of the environment or you place your own gear, you need to know how to do it.
Trad anchors are created using the climbers protection devices. The most common and safest would be the camming devices. This course will teach you how to place “pro” and how to build anchors using “pro”.
